Brooklyn’s Famous New Utrecht High School Turns 100 --- Celebration planned for Saturday, October 24, 2015

New Utrecht High School, featured in the opening of Welcome Back Kotter and home for many personalities, including Arnold Stang, Buddy Hackett, Shemp Howard, David Geffen, Harvey Lembeck, Pat Capri, George L Johnson, Jerry Ferrara, Tony Visconti and John Saxon is turning one hundred years old this year. The New Utrecht Alumni Association has planned a celebration for October 24, 2015 at the school for the classes of 1915-2015 students, teachers, other employees and their families. Also, the Class of 1965 50th Reunion will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1100 South Avenue, Staten Island (7p.m. till 11 p.m.) Tickets for a sit down dinner dance are being sold for $100.00 per person.
