Marietta Patch's First Anniversary

It has been a year since Marietta Patch launched and a little over four months since I've been editor. So tell us what we've done well and what we can do better.

Get Involved

2011 was about building our site, and 2012 will be focused on you, our readers and community. We are looking to engage the community more going forward.

You can now upload your photos straight to the site via the Neighborhood Gallery. You can also browse our blogs and even become a local voice by emailing me at melissa.kory@patch.com.

You can upload announcements (events, obituaries, celebrations, graduations, lost and founds, promotions, awards, thank you's etc.) and calendar items by yourself or email the information to me.

What We've Done

With about 2,500 articles in our first year, we are just getting started. We couldn't have done it without you—our readers, users and contributors.

From writing about the to following the , taking a , showcasing volunteers, and regularly featuring and , it's been a fun start.
