• Piedmont Walton supports Healthcare Pathways for local students (monroelocal.org) — Monroe students now have expanded access to hands-on healthcare internships at Piedmont Walton, with Monroe Area High School newly added and more camp sessions planned for next summer. The hospital is covering key participation costs, rotating teens through 12 departments, and using these programs to build a local pipeline of future healthcare workers and improve long-term access to care in the community.
