• 2 arrested after stolen mini-bikes recovered in Perry police investigation (41nbc.com) — Perry Police recovered two mini-bikes stolen from the Tractor Supply on St. Patricks Drive and arrested two men after searches in Perry and Macon, also finding stolen guns and suspected fentanyl. Both mini-bikes were returned, and the investigation continues, with officers asking anyone who might know more to contact Detective Seaman at the Perry Police Department.

Officers intervened before more money was taken, recovered some funds, and now warn residents that real agencies will never demand secret payments via Bitcoin kiosks, barcodes, gift cards, or cash couriers.
   

• Lady Hounds rally past Perry, keep up late-season push (jcnews.com) — Perry High's softball team pushed Jones County to the wire in a late-season matchup, rallying in the final inning before a potential tying run was cut down at home. Despite splitting the two-game series, the Panthers showed they can challenge a top-16 playoff contender, with their performance helping shape both teams' postseason outlooks.
