Absentee/Early Voting Begins Monday in Austell

Austell residents can begin voting early or by absentee ballots on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the City Clerk's office, Suite 137 at 5000 Austell Powder Springs Road. Early voting ends on Nov. 4 and the municipal election will be held Nov. 8.

Three city council seats –Ward 2, Ward 4 and At-Large Post 2– are up for grabs, along with the city mayor position. All incumbents–Mayor Joe Jerkins, Ward 2 City Councilman Scott Thomas, Ward 4 City Councilwoman Virginia Reagan and At-Large Post 2 City Councilman Randy Green– are seeking reelection., and .
