Mableton Elementary Wins Prestigious Panasonic Award

Mableton Elementary continues to make strides in every way.

Mableton Elementary is the 2011 Panasonic National School Change Award winner.

Every year, only six schools receive this recognition of "significant change," and Mableton Elementary was one of these six in the entire nation.

As winner of the award, the school will receive $5,000 grant, a school ceremony, an awards presentation by the U.S. Department of Education in July.

Principal Kym Eisgruber and other winning schools' principals have their participation in the 14th Annual National Principals Leadership Institute in New York City subsidized.

Mableton Elementary will also be able to participate in a major national research project, focused on school change and improvement.
