Elementary School Happenings

• ’ holds a parent/teacher “Meet and Greet,” Thursday 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m.
• Clarkdale Elementary holds a “Sneak a Peek." Meet your child’s teacher, Thursday 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• holds parent/teacher “Sneak-A-Peek” on Thursday, parents with last names beginning with A-L, 1 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.; M-Z, 1:30 p.m. until 2 p.m.
• holds teacher/parent “Meet and Greet” on Thursday 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.
•   holds "Sneak-A-Peek” on Thursday  at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. and kindergarten orientation held at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
• hosts “View the View” on Thursday, 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Join the PTA for $5 and Chick-fil-A biscuits will be on sale for $2.50 to benefit the school.

Middle School Happenings

• Austell Intermediate School hosts its "Sneak-a-peek" on Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. It's an opportunity to greet the new principal, Mr. Patrick O'Connell, meet new teachers and classmates and check out the students' classrooms!
  

• holds its “Meet and Greet” on Thursday,  4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. for sixth grade; 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. for seventh and eighth grades.
• new student registration is Monday, 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.; “Meet and Greet” is Thursday 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
• Luke Garrett Middle School holds its new student registration, all this week from 9:15 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. The school will also hold a “Meet and Greet” on Thursday 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
• has its new student registration, Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. On Thursday, students’ homeroom assignments will be posted on the school website. On Friday, the school will hold its “Academy Meet and Greet” tour of the school and bus assignments, 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
• has its new student registration on Wednesday 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. The school's “Meet and Greet” will take place at 6 p.m. sharp.

High School Happenings

• has its student schedule pick-up, on Thursday, juniors/seniors 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m.; sophomores, 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.; freshmen, 11 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
• holds its “Eagle Fly-By” on Wednesday 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. in the main cafeteria. Students can pick a copy of their schedule, view bus routes and receive parking information.

Private & Charter School Happenings

• will hold its “Meet and Greet” on Thursday, first and second grades, 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.; third through fifth grades, 11:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m.; middle school students, 1:15 p.m. until 2:15 p.m.
• has its high school worship day camp on Thursday 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Student orientation will be Wednesday, elementary through pre-K 2:30 p.m. until 4 p.m.; middle school, 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• Whitefield Academy will have a used uniform sale on Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at M-104.

General School District Happenings

• The Cobb County District board meeting will be held Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at 514 Glover St., Marietta. The board meeting will begin after public comments (30-minute limit).
