Is Your House in Order?If not, this Sunday's book discussion is right on time as it's a purposeful conversation about planning for that particular moment.&nbsp; Centered around the book Is Your House in Order written by <a href="https://instagram.com/scottconnally" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Shenita Connally</a>, it's a person story of working through life after the transition of a spouse, including making sure your finances and related items are as intact as possible to avoid another set of issues on top of life transitions. The event is done in partnership with Joy Tellis Cooper (Clayton County Public Schools Board Member for District 8) and Alfred Dixon III (City of Jonesboro Council man).&nbsp; It is open to the public, but registration is requested through the QR&nbsp;code on the flyer.Be a part of a timely conversation and make sure your house is in order.

Better Together, a nonprofit on a mission to build strong families and communities, is partnering with Stockbridge First United Methodist Church in Stockbridge to host a community job fair on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.&nbsp; 
Registration is now open for job seekers and employers to participate in the May event. With a spirit of hope and celebration, the church-based job fairs empower job seekers by connecting them with local employers who are ready to hire, while offering supportive services that foster meaningful connections and increase opportunities for lasting employment. Free one-on-one job coaching sessions are available to participants to review resumes, and additional services will be available onsite. 
The May 30 job fair will take place at Stockbridge First United Methodist Church, located at 4863 N. Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge. Job seekers and employers can register at <a href="https://bettertogetherus.org/stockbridgefirstUMC" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">BetterTogetherUS.org/StockbridgeFirstUMC</a> or by texting “JOBS” to 844-987-3949. 
The community job fairs are part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped more than 50,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 25 states.
