My name is Tim Wolfe. I am a CPA and CFP(R) with over 30 years experience in taxes and financial services. I also hold a Master's degree in taxation from Northern Illinois University. And I am a registered investment advisor offering services through First Advisors National of Atlanta, GA. Recently I became a member of the Ed Slott Elite IRA Advisor Group(SM). This organization is made up of more than 400 of the nations top financial professionals who are dedicated to the mastery of advanced retirement account and tax planning laws and strategies.
My primary focus is helping clients develop tax and financial strategies for each of the 4 stages of their financial life cycle, which includes accumulation of assets, preserving and protection of their assets, distribution of retirement assets, and preservation of a financial legacy.
Every engagement begins with a free review of your past 3 business and/or personal tax returns. I do this for 2 reasons. The first is to get to know more about you and to put myself in a position to begin to offer new tax and financial strategies. Second, I find that in about 1/3rd of my reviews I find errors that are substantive enough to file an amended return. Errors come in 3 types: mathematical errors, oversight of favorable tax laws, and the misapplication of tax rules and/or regulations.
