New Fall Programs Announced at the Center for Enriched Living!
A fun-filled fall season awaits with more than 20 programs for people of all ages with developmental disabilities!

An exciting lineup of programs, classes and social excursions have been announced for fall at the Center for Enriched Living (CEL)! CEL, a non-profit in Riverwoods, Illinois, provides social and recreational opportunities for nearly 500 Chicagoland teens, adults and seniors with developmental disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and others.
At CEL, members not only select the programs that meet their individual interests, needs and budgets, but also assist with the development of new programs. With more than 20 different programs scheduled to run, CEL members are able to choose from a wide variety of options.
Teens and young adults (13-22) will have exciting options to choose from including The Center Presents (TCP), a fun after-school program consisting of cooking, life skills, sports & fitness, creative expressions and community excursions; Monday Night Bowling and monthly Open Mic Nights (ages 18 and over), where members and non-members alike can showcase their talents in front of their peers - performing poetry or a stand-up routine, singing, dancing and more. These outstanding options feature a wide-range of social activities designed for teens and young adults to socialize and enjoy time with friends in a fun environment.
