Mike Szcepaniak, graduate of Downers Grove South, and past-President of the Downers Grove South Football Boosters, passed away on Oct. 6th from pancreatic cancer.
As Mike was a union carpenter, he did not receive pay when off of work for illness.

To help them, the Woodridge Jaycess are hosting a fundraiser on Sunday, November 6th (no Bears game that day) at St. Scholastica Parish, 7800 Janes Ave., Woodridge, IL from 2 to 7 PM.
Food, drinks and entertainment. Music entertainment by ON THE HOUSE band. There will be a Bags Tournament from 2 to 4 PM. Pre-sale tickets are $20 ($25 at door) for adults, and $10 for children 12 and under.
Raffle tickets for the TV are $15 each. Several Raffle items, including a signed framed Bears jerseys (Ditka, Urlacher), footballs (Hampton, Fencik) and a Samsung 46" black flat screen LCD-HDTV! (Winner need not be present at time of drawing.)
