ELMHURST, IL – A Miami woman was arrested last week on a charge of prostitution at an Elmhurst hotel.

Police said they determined the 28-year-old woman was advertising prostitution services at Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave. The arrest was about 9:30 p.m. Friday.

In August, a 30-year-old Bronx, New York, woman was arrested on a prostitution charge at the same hotel, with police alleging the woman agreed to a sexual act in exchange for money.

The hotel responded with steps it planned to take to improve safety.
