Serial Suburban Bank Robber Eludes FBI After Seventh Robbery, Strikes In Glen Ellyn

A serial bank robber considered armed and dangerous hit the Fifth Third at 830 Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn, his 7th bank since January.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A notorious bank robber that has eluded the FBI since starting his crime spree in January has struck for the seventh time. This time, he hit a Fifth Third Bank at 830 Roosevelt Road in Glen Ellyn. The suspect is also wanted for robberies in Woodridge, Elgin, Buffalo Grove, Rosemont, Lombard, Des Plaines, and Lombard. The FBI says the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

According to the FBI's website, the Glen Ellyn robbery took place at approximately 11:40 a.m. During the robbery, the man wore the same type of clothing he's worn in his other heists: a black button-down shirt, a black jacket, and black sunglasses.

This serial suburban bank robber is described a white male in his mid-20s or -30s, between 5'8" and 6'0" tall. He has a medium build, a light complexion, and brown hair. The suspect has occasionally worn makeup to conceal his appearance during his other robberies. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his capture.
