Glenview Man Nabbed On Child Porn, 4th Arrest In 3 Years: Police
The 59-year-old is currently behind held in the Cook County Jail on 11 counts of possession of child pornography images, video.

GLENVIEW, IL — A 59-year-old Glenview man has been charged with 11 counts of possession of child pornography images of victims under the age of 13, as well as one count of possession of child pornography video of victims under 13, according to Glenview police. Bruce Claver, of the 3000 block of Knollwood Lane, was arrested Thursday and remains in the Cook County Jail.
On Friday, police said Claver was taken to the Skokie Courthouse for a detention hearing, where his previous pre-trial release conditions were revoked.
On Wednesday, Claver was taken into custody in the 1900 block of Glenview Road for investigation following the results from an executed search warrant from a Dec. 11, 2023, arrest.

This marks Claver's fourth arrest since 2022. His previous charges include:
- December 2023 — felony manufacturing child pornography featuring victims under 13 years of age. According to police, an investigation was started on Dec. 1, 2023, after agents with the U.S. Secret Service identified that Claver was posting child pornography content online.
- February 2022 — felony predatory criminal sexual assault and criminal sexual abuse of minors. Police said a continued investigation of the incidents below revealed two additional complaints involving separate minor children.
- January 2022 — felony aggravated criminal sexual abuse and predatory criminal sexual abuse of minors. Glenview police said an investigation began Dec. 24, 2021, following an initial complaint from a parent that their two minor children were abused over a multi-year time frame. During the investigation, detectives learned of a separate complaint involving another minor child.
Claver is not currently listed on the Illinois Sex Offender Registry.

Glenview detectives conducted the investigation with assistance from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, according to a Friday afternoon news release.
