Nieman Marcus on Michigan Avenue Hit by Smash-and-Grab Crew
Chicago Police arrest two men in a nearby alley Wednesday morning.

Another wild smash-and-grab took place in the Chicago area early Wednesday morning, this time at a Neiman Marcus on Michigan Avenue at 4 a.m. The thieves hit the store at 737 N. Michigan Ave., crashing a white minivan through a front window.
Several men were seen running from the store, but the Chicago Tribune reports that two men are in custody thanks to the eagle eye of Marcus McNeese, an employee of a nearby hotel who saw someone hiding behind a trash bin in an alley.
“He was just laying on the ground, hiding in a facedown position,” said McNeese, who flagged down police. Officers found two men hiding in the alley.
