Voting in DuPage County: Find Your Polling Place / DuPage County Races to Watch
Election Day is Tuesday, and we have all the information you might need to cast your ballot in DuPage County.

It’s finally almost time. Election Day in DuPage County should be a busy one. And the presidential race between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is not the only one to watch. Several congressional and senate seats will be up for election across Chicagoland. Local seats and various referendum questions will also appear on some voters ballots.

The DuPage County Election Commission website allows you to look up your polling place and check out what candidates will appear on your ballot. You can do so by using the election commission’s voter lookup tool.

When can I vote on Election Day?
The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day in DuPage County.
Can You Register to Vote on Election Day in DuPage County?
If you have not yet registered to vote, you will be able to do so this year at your local precinct on Election Day in DuPage County, according to the DuPage County Election Commission website.
What Forms of Identification Do I Need?
When registering before a deputy registrar, you need two forms of identification, with one showing your current address, according to the DuPage County Election Commission website.
On Election Day, you are not required to show identification at the polling place if you are already registered to vote from the address where you reside, according to the Election Commission’s FAQ on voting. The only exception to this is if you registered by mail and failed to include the necessary identification with the registration.
Will I have to vote for every office, or can I just vote for the main candidates and leave some of the minor votes blank?
You may cast a vote for any office you choose to vote. If you choose not to vote for a particular race or referendum, it will not invalidate the ballot. Only the races you voted in will be counted.
Where Can I Get Results?
The DuPage County Election Commission will post results directly to its website once they are counted and after polls close at 7 p.m.

The money would go toward maintaining village roads and improving infrastructure in the area.
