Snow Prompts Anne Arundel Schools To Make Weather Decision For Jan. 7
Snow forced Anne Arundel County Public Schools to change its plan for Friday classes. This was the second winter storm of the week.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — All Anne Arundel County Public Schools and offices will be closed on Friday, Jan. 7. AACPS announced the decision Friday at 6:11 a.m. The school system originally planned for a two-hour delay, but it re-evaluated the roads in the morning.
A Code Red is in effect for employees. Unit III personnel must report to work as required.
AACPS also canceled Monday and Tuesday classes after the county saw up to 11 inches of snow earlier in the week. Schools had a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
