238 New Coronavirus Cases In PG County: Latest Numbers
Prince George's County is breaking down the latest numbers of positive coronavirus cases in the county by ZIP code.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — On Monday morning, the Maryland Department of Health confirmed 238 new cases of the new coronavirus in Prince George's County. That brings the overall total to 3,345 cases. The overall number of deaths in the county due to the virus is 98.
Prince George's County still has the highest number of confirmed cases in the state. Second on the list as of Monday is Montgomery County, with a total of 2,647 positive infections.
In the past day, 854 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Maryland, state health officials said Monday morning. Now 13,684 people statewide have tested positive for COVID-19, the respiratory disease caused by the coronavirus, according to the Maryland Department of Health.
