• Man accused of threatening to burn down home after armed break-in (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Police say a Cumberland resident was arrested after an alleged armed break-in at a Maryland Avenue home, where occupants were reportedly threatened and warned the house would be burned. The 37-year-old is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center on multiple burglary and threat-related charges, and remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
