Schultz admitted that on Feb. 25 he went to a house in the 7600 block of Pine Haven Drive in Pasadena and asked to speak with his wife. An argument began, and police say Schultz took out a handgun and fired multiple shots at his wife’s boyfriend, Joe Kraus, 55, of Crownsville.

Two shots grazed Kraus, the newspaper reports, while another bullet passed through his arm and shoulder. Police say he was treated and released from Shock Trauma.

Schultz then fled the scene in a white 2006 Ford pickup with “Dennis Schultz Contracting” written on the side, according to police. He was arrested later that day.
