MD Nor’easter Kills 1, 2 Missing, Bridge Hazards: Patch PM

Thousands are without power in Maryland as a nor'easter whips the state with a storm that reached the category known as a "bomb cyclone." The strongest gusts reported so far were in Frederick County, where they reached 71 mph Friday morning. Weather officials say conditions will improve after a high wind warning expires at 6 a.m. on Saturday in the region. The remainder of the weekend is expected to be dry, with possible isolated wind damage, according to the National Weather Service.
At least one person has died from the storm, two paddleboarders are missing and a 100-year-old woman was rescued. Here are the need-to-know stories from the Maryland Patch network:

The storm created what is known as a "bomb cyclone," according to the National Weather Service.

"Grace's Law 2.0" would increase penalties for cyberbullying and prohibit telling a minor "go kill yourself" online, among other things.
Traffic Problems
Issues were reported on the Bay Bridge, Hatem Bridge, Tydings Bridge and I-95.
Additionally, there was a light rail closure, power outage at a travel plaza and Amtrak suspension.
