• Board of Public Works Approves $1.18 Million for Sports Fields, Recreational Courts, and Playgrounds in Six Maryland Counties (smnewsnet.com) — Frostburg’s Glendening Recreation Complex is set to get new lighting for its basketball and pickleball courts thanks to state funding just approved by the Board of Public Works. The same $1.18 million package supports additional park and playground upgrades across Allegany and several other Maryland counties, but Frostburg residents will see direct improvements at one of the city’s key recreation hubs.
