Missing Kayakers Draw Susquehanna Hose Company To DE: Officials
Crews from Havre de Grace are helping with a search mission Thursday in Delaware, officials said.

NEW CASTLE COUNTY, DE — For the second time this week, the Susquehanna Hose Company is out on the water participating in an investigation.
Utility 571 with side sonar from the fire boat, Marine 5, is helping in the search for two missing kayakers in Delaware, according to the hose company.
Officials said they were responding to Lums Pond State Park, which is in Bear, Del., after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Earlier in the week, the hose company was called out to the Susquehanna River near the Hatem Bridge and the Amtrak bridge to investigate a sheen on the water. That investigation took place Tuesday evening.
In that case, The Aegis reported the Black Eyed Susan riverboat had been leaking fuel into the water.
