Utility 571 with side sonar from the fire boat, Marine 5, is helping in the search for two missing kayakers in Delaware, according to the hose company. Officials said they were responding to Lums Pond State Park, which is in Bear, Del., after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Earlier in the week, the hose company was called out to the Susquehanna River near the Hatem Bridge and the Amtrak bridge to <a href="https://patch.com/maryland/havredegrace/substance-susquehanna-river-prompts-emergency-investigation" target="_blank">investigate a sheen on the water</a>.
