• Veteran Fire And Rescue Leader Lester Flint To Lead Charles County Emergency Services (thebaynet.com) — Charles County has tapped longtime firefighter and Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department member Lester Flint to lead its Department of Emergency Services starting September 8. With decades of regional fire and rescue leadership, he'll oversee 911 communications, EMS, emergency management, and coordination with local partners that directly support Waldorf and surrounding communities.
