• What Maryland's $21.9 Billion Transportation Plan Means For Southern Maryland (thebaynet.com) — For Waldorf drivers, two long-discussed congestion fixes at US 301, MD 228, and MD 5 Business remain unfunded in Maryland's new $21.9 billion draft transportation plan, despite years of planning costs. While nearby projects in La Plata, Great Mills, and along MD 231 advance, the major Waldorf intersection upgrades and a proposed flyover are still on hold with no construction money through 2032.
