Arlington Police Crack Down on Drunk Driving

Arlington Police Officers will be out in force looking for impaired drivers until Sept. 7. The public safety campaign began on Aug. 14, according to officials.

the Arlington Police Department will be teaming up with more than 191 local police departments across the state in a combined effort to curb impaired driving and save lives.

The 25-day, high-visibility campaign, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, is funded by a federal grant administered through the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security’s Highway Safety Division
