Two Break Ins On Medford Street: Arlington Police Log

This weekend Arlington Police responded to a number of reports of break ins, dead animals and a disturbance at Buzzel Field.

ARLINGTON, MA — Arlington Police release a public log of the types of calls they receive and events they log each day, detailing the time the call was logged and the manner of the call and the street name. The information below comes from that log. Be advised that just because someone called to report something to police doesn't mean that's what police found when they responded.

Friday, July 21

Break in: Someone reported a break in at night, which is a felony, on Chapman Street. Police wrote up a report on the matter.

That's weird: Someone reported they were concerned about a suspicious car near the corner of Mass Ave. and Melrose Street at 2:49 a.m.

Dead: Several calls came in about dead animals, including on River and Stowcroft streets.

Saturday, July 22

Harassment: Police filled out a report about criminal harassment on Medford Street.

Suspicious, then more: A call that came into the police as a suspicious person, ended up becoming a report about a larceny from a building on Orvis Road around 5 p.m.

Drugs arrest: Police made an arrest on Mill Street about 10:40 p.m. in connection with possession of class B drugs.

Sunday, July 23

Break in: Someone was charged with breaking into a building at night on Medford Street.

Crash with injury: Someone was charged with negligent driving after police responded to a report of a crash with injuries on Williams Street at 3:54 a.m.

Disturbance: Someone called police about a disturbance at 10:52 p.m. near Buzzel Field and Summer Street.
