• 16-Year-Old Arrested After Being Found With Loaded Firearm In Boston: PD (patch.com) — Boston police patrolling near the Caribbean Festival on Blue Hill Avenue arrested a 16-year-old from Roxbury after a loaded handgun allegedly fell from his waistband. Officers say they recovered a loaded Smith & Wesson Bodyguard and the teen now faces multiple firearm-related delinquency charges in Boston Juvenile Court.
   

• Fork Truck (PWD) (boston.gov) — Boston is seeking bids for a one-year fork truck contract, with sealed proposals due by noon on Sept. 23, 2026, via the City of Boston Supplier Portal or in person at City Hall. Contractors should review requirements for bid deposits, insurance, and performance bonds, and note that the award depends on available funding and mayoral approval.
   

• Police Blotter: Combative Beacon Hill barfly cuffed kicking and screaming (bostonherald.com) — Boston police describe a disruptive late-night incident at a Beacon Hill bar that led to multiple charges against a patron, as well as 19 arrests tied to Saturday's Boston Caribbean Festival, including several firearm cases. Officers also logged dozens of other incidents citywide, from robberies and assaults to thefts and disorderly conduct.
