Updated: Middlesex Turnpike Dunkin Donuts Robbed, Gun Shown

Burlington Police Confirmed that the Dunkin Donuts at 69 Middlesex Turnpike was armed by a suspect showing a gun.

The confired this evening that there was an armed robbery at the on the corner Middlesex Turnpike and Wheeler Road.

According to police at approximately 7:50 p.m. an armed suspect entered the store wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a distinctive pattern of gray graphic or lettering on each sleeve from the elbow down to the wrist. The weapon appeared to be a black semi automatic handgun.

The suspect pointed the weapon at the employees while demanding money. Suspect fled to the rear parking lot adjacent to Wheeler Rd.  A K-9 search led officers to a nearby parking lot where police believe a vehicle was waiting.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid twenties, thin build with facial hair.

Nobody was injured during the robbery, police said.
