Story Time at Francis Wyman with Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray

Lieutenant Governor Tim Murray stopped by Francis Wyman Elementary School yesterday to read to the students for Read Across America

Students at Francis had a special guest Monday morning.

Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray was at the school for a morning story time as part of the National Education Association's Read Across America program. Read Across America is an annual event, held on March 2,  birthday of beloved children's book author Dr. Seuss. The program is intended to celebrate reading and encourage lifelong literacy.

Before getting down to literature, Murray talked to the children about their home state and gave them a little oral quiz on Massachusetts.
