Concord Witnesses: Elderly Woman in Jeep Crashed Into Vehicle, Fled Scene
The following are excerpts from the Concord police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Mon., May 4
- 8:29 a.m. A caller said a driver with New York plates was going down Estabrook Road holding a dog on a leash outside.
- 9 a.m. A lost dog from Acton was found on Strawberry Hill Road and returned to its owner.
- 11:55 a.m. Witnesses on Old Marlboro Road said an elderly woman driving a black Jeep crashed into another vehicle then fled the scene. No one was hurt. Police put out an alert to surrounding police departments.
- 2:26 p.m. A Colonial Inn staff member said a woman gave her a $2,300 check for a donation and would not take it back.
- 2:28 p.m. Police were called to a bakery on Commonwealth Avenue for a report of a dog inside a hot car. A responding officer couldn’t locate the vehicle.
- 5:40 p.m. A woman on Nutmeadow Crossing said another dog attacked her dog at White Pond.
- 5:45 p.m. Cumberland Farms staff said a man knocked over a lighter display after he was asked for ID for tobacco products.
