A woman is found dead in a Burlington hotel room, authorities release an image of an unknown toddler found dead on the beach, and a boat fire sends two to the hospital. These are just some of the stories on Massachusetts Patch today.
Burlington police are investigating the death of a woman found Thursday in a hotel near the Burlington Mall as a murder. Law enforcement officials discussed the case during a televised press conference Thursday evening. According to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan, the victim has not been identified, and it does not appear to be a suicide.

On Deer Island off Boston, officials are still trying to determine the identity of a young girl found dead on the beach last week. They have released a computer-generated image based on what they believe she looked like. Law enforcement officials encourage those with any information regarding the identity of the child to immediately come forward.
Two victims were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital after a boat fire at the Eastern Yacht Club in Marblehead just after 5 p.m. The fire has been contained. Stay tuned for more updates.
