Possible Shark Sighting at Beach Near Cape Cod

There was a possible shark sighting at a beach near Cape Cod today; swimmers were placed on alert.

PLYMOUTH, MA — There was a possible shark sighting in Plymouth Thursday.

Yellow flags were raised at Plymouth Beach and White Horse Beach; the flags mean swimmers are doing so at their own risk.

The sighting has not been confirmed, town officials said.

Last week, there was a confirmed shark sighting in Plymouth and both of those beaches were closed.
