2 People Injured In Tent Collapse At Medford Nursing Home: Report
The tent reportedly collapsed due to heavy snow on top of it.
MEDFORD, MA — Two people were transported to the hospital after a pop-up tent collapsed on top of them due to the weight of snow, according to a report from Boston 25 News.
The accident occurred at Glen Ridge Nursing Home on 120 Murray St. this past Sunday night, as the two victims are residents at the center. Medford police and emergency services arrived on the scene to discover the two people trapped under the collapsed tent and worked to rescue them. While the injuries were described as serious, the parties are expected to recover.
