Make Your Garden Look and Taste Wonderful This Summer!
Join the friendly local gardeners of the Somerville Garden Club for a presentation by Barbara Emerson, a Principal Master Gardener and an enthusiastic grower of new and heirloom vegetables. Barbara will cover the concepts to consider when adding edible plants to your ornamental garden or edible flowers to your vegetable beds, and demonstrate how container combinations can help the urban gardener with only a pitch of sun still grow delicious and beautiful healthy food. She will even give a brief history of food gardening.
The Somerville Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of every month; meetings are free and the public is invited to attend. Parking is available on site, and the building is a short walk from the Davis Square Redline T station. Meetings are on the second floor, wheelchair accessible.
