Garballey Wins Medford State Rep Primary

The Democratic nominee will not face a Republican challenger this year.

MEDFORD, MA – Medford voters remained in incumbent State Rep. Sean Garballey's corner this primary. The 10-year veteran of the State House received 1,290 votes across the 23rd Middlesex District's three precincts in Medford, according to the Medford Transcript. His challenger, first-time candidate Lori Lennon, received 743 votes.

Lennon is a former director of communications at the Northeastern University College of Science. She lives in Arlington and has a 9-year-old daughter, Keira.

Garballey was first elected as the 23rd Middlesex District representative at age 23 and is projected to be this year's winner. The Democratic nominee will not face a Republican challenger this year.
