Here's Who Will Study The Future Of Medford High School
The Vision Committee, consisting of 15 members of the community, will develop the master vision plan for the high school.
MEDFORD, MA — Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn recently appointed 15 members of the Medford community to a Vision Committee to study the future of the facilities at Medford High School. The committee, created by the Medford School Committee in September, will determine the master vision plan for the facility based on the needs of the community and the condition of the current building. That could include renovating or rebuilding Medford High School, according to the mayor's office.
"I am gratified by the overwhelming response to our call for volunteers to serve on this committee," Mayor Lungo-Koehn said in a statement. "It was a difficult decision selecting the fifteen committee members from the dozens of application received – I am confident that these individuals will be able to study the issue and make a thoughtful recommendation to the entire city government about the future of the facility at Medford High School."
The committee consist of members of the Medford City Council and School Committee, parents, and professionals from diverse disciplines. They include:
