Medford High Fails to Make US News & World Report’s Rankings

The publication's rankings included the top 63 high schools in Massachusetts.

US News & World Report released its annual list of the nation’s top high schools Tuesday and Medford High School, as well as Medford Vocational Technical High School, failed to make the cut.

The publication’s rankings included the top 63 high schools in Massachusetts, about the top 2,000 nationally.

“At Medford High School, students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement course work and exams. The AP participation rate at Medford High School is 28 percent. The student body makeup is 49 percent male and 51 percent female, and the total minority enrollment is 40 percent.”
