ONCE BBQ 007: License to Grill with Cuisine en Locale & Aeronaut Brewing

A Grilling Extravaganza Celebrating All Things Bond, James Bond.

SOMERVILLE, MA, September 1, 2014 – Your mission, if you chose to accept it, is to take a journey through grilled Massachusetts goodness. The grill masters of Cuisine en Locale challenge you to indulge in 10+ courses of villainous Bond proportions featuring a cash bar full of Bond-girl worthy brews from the Brewmasters of Aeronaut Brewing Company. Not to mention, there will be one TOP SECRET special edition beer for the occasion. We cannot reveal all the secrets, but be prepared for anything. You may have to take on a Kamal Khan Kafta. Go hand-to-hand with a Nick Nack Slider. Or go whole lamb against Mr.Big.

Doors open at 4pm on September 14th. This come-and-go event allows you to embark on your mission to devour plenty meat and vegetarian grilled dishes between 4 and 8pm. Pair them up with freshly tapped Aeronaut brews. Beer sample are free with full pours for purchase. The brewery taps will be open until 11pm.

The best part is all the Bonds (Did you know there were 13 of them?), all the Bond Girl Brews (Too many to count!) and all the Bond Villain Dishes (who will be “neutralized”, we hope.) are as local as it gets. We are featuring meats from Stillman at the Turkey Farm, grains and hops from Four Star Farms, pantry staples from Sherman Market, Somerville-foraged beer ingredients, and a variety of crops from Red Fire Farm, Winter Moon Deep Roots, Northstar Farms and others.

In between grilled goodies and brewed libations, enjoy a little baccarat and spy-themed entertainment. The Country Hits will bring us a country spin on the many Bond Theme songs starting at 5:30pm. There will also be plenty of time to explore the Q-worthy Aeronaut Food Laboratory space.
