MELROSE, MA—Here are the highlights from Feb. 29 to Mar. 2 of the Melrose Police Logs.
Feb. 29, 4:46 p.m.: Melrose Police received a call reporting a male going door-to-door selling siding. Police were unable to locate the man.
Mar. 1, 2:41 a.m.: An alarm at Melrose Middle School sparked police response. The building was check and all was secure.
Mar. 1 6:05 p.m.: Police received reports of an erratic driver in a black Audi. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Mar. 1, 8:18 p.m.: Police received a walk-in report of a larceny by card.
Mar. 2, 8:33 a.m.: Melrose Police transported a prisoner to Malden District Court.
Mar. 2, 12:38 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious item found in a mailbox. The State Police Bomb Squad reported and cleared the scene.
Mar. 2, 3:21 p.m.: A caller reported that a person threw papers at her house.
