Newton Apartment Complex Nearing Completion
The new 292-unit luxury residential development is on track to begin marketing and leasing this spring.
NEWTON, MA — Construction at the new Newton Crossing development in Newton is moving forward as exterior finishing is now underway, according to Developer Garden Communities.
Newton Crossing is a mixed-use project located at 1165 Washington Street. Upon completion, the community will feature 292 luxury rental apartments and 8,000 square feet of retail space. The site is situated approximately one half mile from the West Newton MBTA commuter rail station. Current project timelines indicate that initial marketing and leasing efforts are set to begin later this spring.

The development consists of three mixed-use buildings offering studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. These units include loft-like windows, private balconies and terraces, with select one-bedroom options featuring dens. Community amenities for residents include a fitness center, golf simulator, game room, and conference rooms. The property will also provide garage parking equipped with electric vehicle charging stations. The location is designed to be pedestrian-friendly and sits near numerous local shops and restaurants, including a Trader Joe's location. Residents will have proximity to the Massachusetts Turnpike. Additionally, the site provides access to Cheesecake Brook via pedestrian walkways.
