14 Somerville Arrests Last Week: Armed Robbery, Resisting Arrest

The following are excerpts from the Somerville police log from Sept. 26-30. An arrest does not imply a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 24

• Shea-Lyn Morton, 33, of Somerville, was arrested at 3:08 p.m. and charged with assault and battery and attempt to commit a crime.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

• Stanley Vallon, 26, of Medford, was arrested at 10:51 a.m. on SH3 warrant charges of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended and failure to notify RMV of name or address change.

• Joel Sylvia, 59, of Charlestown, was arrested at 11:59 a.m. and charged with shoplifting over $250 by concealing merchandise.

• Michael Lacey, 31, of Boston, was arrested at 1:22 p.m. on Somerville warrant charges of open and gross lewdness and disturbing the peace. Read more about his case here.

• Amy McGregor, 38, of Medford, was arrested at 1:21 p.m. and charged with breaking and entering daytime for a felony.

• Edmilson Gomes, 28, of Somerville, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. on a Somerville warrant charge of refusing to provide a DNA database sample.

• Kelli Loper, 45, of Cambridge, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled and larceny from person.

• Keith Hill, 34, of Cambridge, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. and charged with assault and battery, assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled and larceny from person. Hill also faces Somerville warrant charges of shoplifting by asportation (third offense), trespassing and disturbing the peace (subsequent offense).

Thursday, Sept. 27

• Kevin MacDonald, 21, of Chelmsford, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. and charged with wanton malicious defacement of property.

• Luis Acevedo, 24, was arrested at 7:58 p.m. and charged with armed robbery.

• Pedro Hernandez, 33, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. and charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

Saturday, Sept. 29

• Sophie Douglas, 32, of Medford, was arrested at 9:42 p.m. and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

• Kenji Matsuda, 32, of Malden, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. and charged with possession of dangerous weapons in violation of community ordinance and disorderly conduct.

Sunday, Sept. 30

• Jennifer Rivera, 32, of Somerville, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. and charged with larceny over $1,200.
