2 Somerville Firefighters Retiring
The firefighters will retire in August after decades with the Somerville Fire Department.
SOMERVILLE, MA –Two veteran Somerville firefighters will retire Aug. 5, the department announced Friday. Lt. Stephen Longo of Ladder 2 will complete 40 years of service and Capt. James Doheney of Engine 7 will finish a 32-year career.
"The Somerville Fire Department will miss their dedication and wishes them a long and healthy retirement," Chief Engineer Charles Breen wrote in an email.
