Brass Union Celebrates St. Patrick's Weekend in Union Square
Somerville eatery & lounge to dish out festive specials from March 13-17
From March 13-17, Union Square hotspot Brass Union will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day weekend with an Irish-inspired menu as prepared by Executive Chef Jon Kopacz and specialty cocktail features from Beverage Director Paulo Pereira. Guests will be transported to Irish shores as they enjoy a variety of authentic eats and sips in Union Square’s interactive lounge.
Brass Union will offer three culinary items for guests to feast on such as the Shredded Corned Beef & Spuds (shredded corned beef, Irish cheddar cheese, fries - $10); Corned Beef Sandwich (housemade corned beef brisket, coleslaw, cheddar cheese, housemade chips - $12); and, the Brass “Traditional” Boiled Dinner (corned beef, cabbage sautéed in corned beef jus, smashed red bliss potatoes, carrots - $14).
On the liquid side, revelers will clink their glasses in merriment as they enjoy Irish concoctions including: 1661 - sherry potin, Sandeman Amontillado Sherry, honey simple syrup, Combier Rose Liqueur ($12); Donal Sour - Glendalough Double Barrel Whiskey, fresh lemon, clove syrup, grapefruit bitters (available on draft; $10); and, The Abbot - Glendalough 7 Year Single Malt Irish Whiskey, orange & cinnamon syrup, acid phosphate, Angostura bitters ($12).
