Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Rink Rats vs. Boston Bruins Alumni on Saturday

Charity hockey game will benefit the Jimmy Fund

Dana-Farber doctors, researchers, and staff make up the Dana-Farber Rink Rats, coached by U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer Cindy Curley. They will face off against the Boston Bruins Alumni, including Ken Linseman, Rick Middleton, Bob Sweeney, Andy Brickley, and Bob Beers. Dana-Farber President and CEO Edward J. Benz, Jr., MD, and Dana-Farber pediatric patient and Ian Cadden will drop the puck at the start of the game.

The charity hockey game benefits the Jimmy Fund, which supports adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The puck drops at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 4 at Veterans Memorial Rink, 570 Somerville Avenue in Somerville.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children, and can be purchased at the door. Limited free parking is available. Each member of the Dana-Farber Rink Rats has committed to raise at least $1,000.
