Indictments Handed Down In 3 Somerville Cases: DA
The Middlesex DA's office recently announced indictments handed down between Aug. 14 and Sept. 20.

SOMERVILLE, MA – Three cases with ties to Somerville are among the latest round of indictments in Middlesex County. District Attorney Marian Ryan recently announced indictments handed down between Aug. 14 and Sept. 20.
Mark Myrthil, 28, of Malden, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault and battery on a household or family member, subsequent offense, and violating a restraining order. The Assistant District Attorney is Caitlin Gemmill.
Jose Pena, 25, of Lowell, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance, subsequent offense, and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act. The Assistant District Attorney is Michael Klunder.
