Health officials warn residents—especially older adults and those immunocompromised—to take mosquito precautions during peak season as the virus continues to be detected across almost every county.

• Somerville organizations awarded funding from MassCEC (thesomervilletimes.com) — Somerville-based climatetech companies Eden Geopower, Vertical Semiconductor, and Form Energy are among 18 firms sharing $27.2 million in new state tax incentives to grow clean-energy jobs and technology. The funding, through MassCEC's Climatetech Tax Incentives Program, supports facility expansion, R&D, and manufacturing across Massachusetts, reinforcing the state's push to lower energy costs and pollution while boosting its climatetech economy.
