Somerville Firefighters Receive Thomas Chetham Award
The three were honored for responding to a medical emergency involving a child birth earlier this year.
SOMERVILLE, MA – Three Somerville firefighters received the Thomas Chetham Firefighter of the Year Award from American Legion Post 19 on Saturday, Nov. 17. Lt. Paul French and firefighters Steve Chiemets and Sean Layton were recommended by Fire Chief Charles Breen.
The three were honored for their actions at a medical emergency involving a child birth earlier this year, Breen said.
