Get Ready For Wayland's 2022 Memorial Day Events: Monday Manual

WAYLAND, MA — Welcome to the May 23 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight important events coming up during the week in Patch communities between Wayland and Worcester.

Here's what to know for the week of May 23:

Wayland

1) An emergency water restriction goes into effect in Wayland on Monday. For now, the restriction will mean an almost total ban on the use of sprinklers in Wayland.

About two dozen sunblock dispensers will be set up in Worcester parks and beaches on Wednesday. The dispensers come from a collaboration between the nonprofit IMPACT Melanoma and UMass Memorial to prevent sun-related skin cancer.
