• Select Board approves new deadline for retirees (homenewshere.com) — Winchester's Select Board has moved the deadline for retirees to qualify for Medicare Part B reimbursement to June 30, giving the town more certainty for budgeting and staffing. Officials say the change, along with continued meetings with retirees, should also help manage vacation and sick-leave buybacks while keeping current retirees' coverage rolling over into 2027.
